Hair Extension Colour Blends

Natural hair is rarely made up of a single flat colour. It contains subtle changes in tone, lighter pieces, deeper sections and natural dimension throughout.

That’s why creating the perfect hair extension colour match is about more than simply choosing the closest shade on a colour ring.

Muse Lengths blends are designed to give stylists greater freedom to mix complementary shades, mirror the natural highs and lows within a client’s hair and create a finish that feels completely individual.

Different blend ratios allow you to control how much of each shade is visible, whether you need a subtle touch of contrast, an even mix of two tones or a more dimensional three-way blend.

This approach can also reduce the need to colour or chemically alter the extensions after purchase, helping preserve the original condition, softness and finish of the hair.

There is no single formula for the perfect blend. The right combination will depend on the client’s natural colour, placement, desired result and extension method.

Mix shades. Adjust the ratio. Create something individual.

Your client. Their colour. Their Muse.

70 / 30 Blend

A dominant shade blended with a smaller amount of a secondary colour.

Ideal when the client’s hair is mainly one tone but contains subtle highlights, lowlights or variation that you want to reflect within the extensions.

50 / 50 Blend

An equal combination of two shades for a more balanced, multi-dimensional finish.

Perfect for clients whose natural hair sits between two colours or where both tones are equally visible throughout the hair.

30 / 70 Blend

A softer variation of the 70 / 30 blend, with the secondary shade becoming the dominant colour.

This gives stylists greater control when creating lighter or deeper transitions while still keeping natural dimension within the finished result.
